The new innovative Contest 42CS is, like all other Contest models, equipped with a Jefa rudder & steering system. A special twin wheel system was designed for this boat with integral autopilot drive unit.

The rudder blade is based on our successful RUD46 rudder blade with a special top,
achieved by a metal insert in our standard mould.

Clearly visible the compactness of the system. Port and starboard steering position, rudder stops, and the autopilot drive unit are all combined in the traverse solution resulting in a very quick and strong installation for the yard.
